How Black Castle of Africa Started
It did not begin with money, fame, or connections.
It began from reality.
I am Mbagwu Stephen, also known as ILOVECHIBOI, and I come from Mpape, Abuja — a place filled with struggle, survival, noise, dreams, and strong people trying to create a better future from difficult conditions.
Growing up, I saw many talented people with dreams, but not everyone had the opportunity or support to express themselves. I realized that many stories from places like Mpape are never told to the world. People only see the outside, but they do not see the creativity, pain, culture, hustle, and strength inside the streets.
That thought stayed in my mind for a long time.
I started thinking deeply about creating something bigger than myself — something that could represent creativity, survival, culture, and vision. Something that could give a voice to people and stories that are often ignored.
That was how Black Castle of Africa was born.
The name represents building something powerful from struggle. A castle is strong. Africa is rich with stories, culture, creativity, and greatness. Black Castle of Africa became more than just a name to me. It became a movement and a vision.
I began with ideas, passion, and the desire to create. Step by step, I started working on storytelling, filmmaking, music, creative projects, and building a platform that could inspire others.
The journey is not easy.
There are days of stress, lack, pressure, and uncertainty. Sometimes resources are low. Sometimes support is small. But the vision continues to grow because I believe creativity can change lives and open doors.
Black Castle of Africa is about turning struggle into creation.
It is about proving that powerful stories can rise from the streets.
It is about inspiring a new generation to believe in their voice, their creativity, and their purpose.
This is only the beginning.
From Mpape to the world, the journey continues.
